• built a $150 refreshable braille display against a $6,000 commercial device — ieee paper, 3rd in embedded systems at isef
• evaluated computer vision models on defense datasets at the u.s. naval research laboratory
• led ai research at harvard medical school's biomedical cybernetics lab for three years
• shipped ros 2 navigation for non-holonomic robots in cluttered environments at uva's robot autonomy lab
• built preptime, an ai debate coach used by 70+ students across 8 schools
